Our Mission

AWD Sales & Service, Inc. promises you …

Value: AWD Sales & Service, Inc. (AWD) has the goal in mind to establish a mutual gain in every project we do. We hold ourselves to ethical guidelines to ensure that our presence on a project has a long lasting value for our customers. Below are the time tested standard practices used to ensure that we obtain this goal.

Quality Control: AWD has an inside quality control program and representative.  The standard we use is section 9 of ASME code.  The WPS (welder procedure specifications), PQR (procedure qualification record) and WPQR (welder performance qualification record) are written and performed on stainless steel and carbon steel and various other alloys.  All welders successfully pass tests before placement on the job.  AWD has very high standards for quality of work performed and can provide pressure testing of systems when required.  Each welder is issued a stamp number that can be used to track weld numbers for weld schedules if required. Weld quality is assured from the bottom up the welder and his fitter visually inspect each weld accompanied by routine inspections by project foreman and project manager. Internal welds are inspected when possible at the customers request AWD will use a third party for additional testing and bore scoping.

Safety: AWD has a written Health & Safety policy; however, the customer’s safety guidelines do supersede AWD existing policies.  AWD experience modification rate with WCF of Utah is very low due to our safety team and experienced journeyman.

Knowledge of local Manpower: AWD has spent many years in this industry in Utah and the western states, creating a large pool of employee references. We average 20-35 full time employee's AWD can provide an additional 50-60 men for project support.

Approach to Organization: Quotes and design are done by an assigned project manager who will be heading the project upon awarding of purchase order to schedule manpower and ensure customer satisfaction. A project foreman is assigned to coordinate with project manager to ensure completion of deadlines and delegate to journeymen on site. A project manager assistant is provided to procure materials, rental equipment, Cost tracking and invoicing. Our 8,000 sq ft fabrication shop can provide specialty construction support when required. Additional facilities such as Jobsite restroom, Jobsite office trailer and material storage can be provided if required.

Drafting: AWD can provide AutoCAD and Inventor drawings for your project when required. 2D drawings such as piping and instrumentation diagrams, layout drawings and design intent. 3D drawings for spool fabrication, technical layout and design intent.

AWD Sales & Service, Inc. has been in business in this area for over eighteen (18) years.  We are an equal opportunity employer and have hired and currently employ minorities.  AWD has many contacts with local subcontractors as well as out of state contractors.  AWD also has local and nationwide vendors, many which are major suppliers who give us project discounts.
